Research to inform principles for building mobile apps that engage and convert consumers
AnswerLab teamed up with Google's UX Research Lead on 2 projects to help the team develop advice specifically about mobile app user experiences and retail app user expetriences. Each project required the team to interview more than 100 people, using 100 different apps across varied industries, including e-commerce, insurance, travel, food ordering, ticket sales, and financial management.
I worked as a contract UX Researcher at Answerlab, working on a team delivering the 2 studies mentioned above.
My work included moderating user testing sessions, collaborating with other UX Researchers and notetakers, preparing recaps for daily debriefs and key takeaways with evidence to share in project summary meetings with Google’s UX Research lead.
Tools: Ipevo camera, Morae, Webex, Google docs, Google Sheets
Google research leads used the insights from these studies to publish the following two publications on Think with Google in 2016.
